Governor says Avtotor to switch to friendly states' car models

KALININGRAD, Apr 29 (PRIME) -- Kaliningrad Region's Avtotor will continue to work and will assemble new models under agreements with the countries that did not introduce sanctions against Russia, Governor Anton Alikhanov said on Friday.

"There will be a break, of course, but there are preliminary agreements with some companies from the countries that did not introduce sanctions against Russia, so that Avtotor will produce the cars on its premises," Alikhanov said.

Avtotor earlier announced a vacation from Sunday until May 22, as BMW withdrew from Russia.
